Mijo! Brands, the marketing, communication and brand strategy agency, began work in late 2012 with GayPV to reposition the local magazine as a national LGBT website.

Tell me about the project...

The three year project partnership includes the development of a new marketing strategy and digital products, as well as a new corporate image.

A new corporate image will be created that will be fresh, youthful and dynamic with the intention of providing a more appropriate representation of gay entertainment in Puerto Vallarta and throughout Mexico.

And the strategy?

A strategy has also been developed for updating web content with news, events and blogs on the site that aims to become the leading site for the LGBT community both in Puerto Vallarta and throughout Mexico.

With regard to social networks, the GayPV Facebook profile with more than 12 000 fans was optimized by Mijo! Brands as part of a comprehensive social media strategy that also includes Twitter and Pinterest.

What's next?

Mijo! Brands and GayPV will manage both the website and social networks in following the guidelines of the new, comprehensive brand strategy.
